A PNA a minor surgical procedure where only the problematic section of the toenail (usually the edge that is ingrown or causing pain) is carefully removed. A TNA is an alternative procedure where the whole toenail is removed under local anaesthetic. This is usually recommended when the entire nail is damaged, severely ingrown, or causing ongoing problems. The nail bed is then treated with asolution to help prevent that portion of the nail from growing back.
It is performed under local anaesthetic, meaning the toe is completely numb during the procedure. A small dressing is applied afterwards, and healing usually takes a few weeks with regular podiatry follow-up.
This procedure is highly effective in stopping recurring ingrown toenails and relieving pain long-term.A long-term solution for painful or recurring ingrown toenails, performed under local anaesthetic to ensure minimal discomfort.

Pressure Plate AnalysisThe foot is a dynamic system, as such, it is important to assess the foot dynamically. At our clinic we utilise state of the art pressure plate technology.
Pressure plate technology allows us to assess in far more depth than conventional gait analysis. The plate records 100 images per second of the pressures under your feet as you move. This provides information that the naked eye could only dream of obtaining.
During this portion of your assessment, you will be asked to stand on the pressure plate and walk across it; providing your podiatrist with static and dynamic information.A detailed assessment of your walking pattern using advanced technology to identify any biomechanical issues and help improve movement.
